Next beach in 5 km, some beaches are well-known among surfers (incl. kite-surf) You can go on wonderful tours through the forest right next to the house or along the cliffs on a trail from beach to beach. Some famous golf courses are within a distance of 15 km.

Extensive hiking trails lead along the breathtaking cliffs and through the nearby forest in the Serra Sintra. There you can also take long trips by mountain bike.
In the resort directly on the beach is also the terminus of the historic train to Sintra. Also in the surrounding area are numerous palaces, forts, monasteries and churches from the rich cultural heritage of the country
