Der Ort ist eine Idylle mitten im üppigen Pinienwald, 9 km vom Hauptort Kassandria entfernt.

Hier scheint die Zeit stehengeblieben zu sein : Hühner,Esel und Ziegen dürfen noch auf der Wiese hinter dem Haus herumlaufen. Die alten Männer sitzen vor dem Kafenion und begrüßen freundlich die wenigen Fremden, die vorbeikommen. Mehrere Tavernen, die sich auf Fleisch spezialisiert haben, locken vor allem am Wochenende mit ihren leckeren Gerichten.
