Detailed description:

Vila Marta is located at the bottom of the small mount of São Martinho, on the west surroundings of Funchal, just about 4 km west from the city centre.

From the Vila you can enjoy a wonderful view over the sea and also over Bananas fields.

The Studio has two individual beds, a safe deposit box, private bathroom, a small kitchen and balcony. The room is very well decorated and offer cable TV and direct dial telephone to the exterior.

The owner João Joel Silva Alves and its team will greet all guests to the Vila Marta and wish them a nice and comfortable stay at the lovely Madeira Island. The whole team will undertake all efforts to ensure that your stay is in a friendly atmosphere.

The reception is always well decorated with orchids, protean, birds of paradise and other flowers.

The vila has 8 Studio-apartments and one Suite.

For the first breakfast, all the necessary ingredients are provided.Fresh bread is left on each apartment every day after approximately 7 a.m.

If you wish a complete breakfast can also be prepared for other days, but it will be considered as an extra service (not included in the price).

A daily cleaning service is provided and it includes making the beds, washing the dishes and changing the towels. Linen is changed every two days.

Description of the area:

This area, where the holiday house is located, is the ideal starting point for walks in the mountains and excursions in the beautiful city of Funchal. Levada dos Piornais is located at a distance of about 100 metres.

Also in the parish of São Martinho, where the house is located, you can find supermarkets, shopping centers, restaurants, public transports and much more.

How to find us:

From the airport and after you have done 21,4 km by car towards FUNCHAL - CAMARA OF LOBOS, you will go out on EXIT N º 8 - SÃO MARTINHO (on the right side) and then by turning left passing over the bridge which crosses the FREEWAY.

You will arrive at the first round-about, go towards south and pass under a tunnel, going always down until the other round-about (300 meters).

Turn in the first exit of the round-about, "AVENIDA DO AMPARO", at about 200m you will reach at the third one round-about. Continue in the "AVENIDA DO AMPARO", and at about 50 meters you will find a street in the right side "TRAVESSA DO AMPARO" in which you will see a indication "Apartamentos VILA MARTA".

Follow pointed out direction and you will find us at 100 meters on the right side.
