Apartment for 6 persons in a ski hut (possibility to use the sauna), on the top floor with balcony. There are 2 bedrooms with double beds, a LCD-TV with DVD Player of the latest generation and free Internet access. Fully equipped living room. Apart from the LCD-TV with DVD Player, a telephone and free Internet access, there is a comfortable sofa bed (180 x 200 cm). There are sliding doors to separate the living room from the dining room if you wish (which means you can have another bedroom that way). If you prefer to leave the open space as it is, you will have a spacious living room which is connected to the kitchen/diner. Spacious kitchen/diner with comfortable corner bench, Kachelofen (masonry stove), dishwasher, microwave, hot air stove, a large fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, kettle, egg cooker, mixer, hand blender, toaster etc.

There are also 2 bathrooms with shower and WC. All rooms have underfloor heating. The ski hut has its own ski room with ski boot warmer.


On the large South-West facing balcony, you can lounge around on deck chairs and relax. Relaxation is also guaranteed with the modern Sauna-combination (Finnish, vapour and infrared sauna with WC, shower and loungers) installed outside. Reservations can be made at the reception, which means that the Sauna will be reserved for your private use.

Description of the area:

A very popular place to visit that is really worth seeing: the Krimmler Wasserfälle (Krimmler Falls) where the water falls from a height of 380m (the 5th highest waterfalls in the world). There are plenty of viewpoints from where you can contemplate the beauty of these Waterfalls.



In Königsleiten, there is also the highest observatory in Europe and the opportunity to view the night sky in the Planetarium.

Another excursion worth taking is the "Durlaßboden See" (Lake Durlaßboden) in Gerlos, only 3 km away. On this reservoir, you can surf, sail, ride a pedalo, and so much more. There are also plenty of lovely walks around the reservoir calling at huts where you can have something to eat or drink.

For those who want to go on longer hikes, you can walk to the "Zittauer Hütte" (Zittauer hut), 2328 meters above sea level, in the Wildgerlostal, the westernmost of the Tauern valleys in the National Parks of Hohe Tauern.
