Quinta do Pântano, a farm that has been reconstructed and enlarged in perfect harmony with the rural environment, has a natural lake and offers its visitors the possibility of direct contact with the magnificent surrounding landscape.

The house has a biologic certification.

With an area of 14,000 mts, the property is run with the organic agriculture system, such as the cultivation of vegetables, flowers and all sorts of fruit, and it also produces jam. You can have contact with Farm animals, such as ducks, chicken, pheasants, goats, horses, pigs, amongst others.

The studio, with an area of 50 mts, located on the ground floor of the main house, offer double beds and the possibility to accommodate one other family member, in an extra bed or baby cot.

The kitchenette is totally equipped with all the electrical appliances and utensils required.

Bathroom with bath and hair dryer. Small living room with cable TV. Salamander stove and electric heating (Heco-Heat) for the colder days. Direct access to the lawn and gardens.

At this property you find the main house (House Urze Lilás, type T2) and 2 studios on the ground floor.

Santo da Serra is located in a plateau with 1,482 hectares, and has a population of 2337 inhabitants, who live off agriculture, fruit-growing, floriculture and traditional trade.

In the parish you can find the oldest Golf Course in the Region, Santo da Serra Golf Course, as well as beautiful old farms, some of which have been converted to tourism, and also the greatest natural lagoon Madeira Island has.

100 m from the Farm you can enjoy mini-golf and play tennis, free-of-charge.
500 m away from the Farm, you can find the Horse-Riding Centre, where you will be able to have riding-lessons and/ or go horse riding in the parish with a guide.

The Club House of Santo da Serra Golf Course is located 400 meters from the Farm. You can also take advantage of our location and go for a few hikes through Levada da Serra: Portela, Ribeiro Frio, Camacha.
