This luxurious first floor apartment has stunning views of the quaint town and mountains and is furnished to a very high standard. With solid oak heated flooring throughout, it comprises; 3 double bedrooms, Bedroom 1 is a king-size with en-suite shower room, with shower, sink & WC. Bedroom 2 is a double room and Bedroom 3 is a twin room (also with foam chair-bed for 3 children wishing to sleep together). There is a family bathroom with twin sinks, WC, bath with shower fitments, and large heated towel rail. There is also a constant supply of hot water.

The large, open-plan, dining-kitchen and living space has an ‘extending’ solid oak dining table and seats 8 comfortably. Large french windows and doors fold open onto a generous sunny balcony. It also has a large double sofa bed and could be used as a fourth bedroom, if needed.

The idyllic town boasts stunning views up to the Sönnblick Glacier and the wilderness that lies beyond. It is the original Austrian ski resort, founded in 1902.

Rauris is the ideal location for year round outdoor activities and relaxation. It is an adventure sport centre, including skiing, hiking, rafting, mountain biking, mountaineering, paragliding, ice and rock climbing and 46km of groomed cross-country piste.

The Rauris valley has two of the biggest glaciers in Austria, both a mecca for ski-touring. Footpaths and hiking trails lead directly into the countryside through the “Rauriser Urwald” – a primal forest with 80 secluded lakes. In the evening you can also experience the romance of a horse-drawn sleigh ride across crisp, white snows, or the excitement of a moonlight tobogganing adventure.
