Housemaid five times a week morning. Pool and garden maintained. English speaking house administration close by. Carvoeiro centre 1. 5 km, 4 beaches at 250 m, 350, 1500 m. 3 Golf-courses Vale do Milho 1, 4 km, Gramache and Pinta 8 km. Further golfcourses closeby. We have just returned from two weeks at this fantastic villa. The house, gardens and pool are superb. Everything is very well equiped. I cannot recommend this place highly enough & we have just booked for next year! It is close enough to walk to small supermarkets,restaurants and the town square.We managed two weeks without a car very easily - even a taxi ride to Slide 'n Splash was only €10 and well worth a visit.

We had a wonderful holiday at the Castelo Do Mar at the beginning of May. The booking was organised in a friendly and helpful manner and the villa lived up to expectations. The pool was heavenly and safe for my 3 year old grandson. Ideal having the self contained bedroom and bathroom upstairs when there are different generations. The terrace is great for outside meals and BBQ. The local manager was very helpful and friendly. The distance from the town is just right for walking off a meal out. No hesitation in recommending this lovely place.

This is a beautiful villa in a lovely location with great gardens. Pick your own figs when in season! Great to be able to walk to town and beach so car not needed(but nice to have to go shopping/touring)

The kitchen was so well equipped, everything you could ever need. All the spices and oils etc were a lovely touch.

Eating and sitting outside was a delight as there were tables and seating available in so many areas that you were spoiled for choice!

Great to have Telephone and Internet access available.

Lovely pool and the owners were there the day we arrived and made us so welcome and gave us good tips on good cheap wines!

We spent a magical week at Castelo Do Mar in June 2007. All the pics you see of the villa on the website don't actually do it justice, it really is fabulous. The enclosed pool is a huge plus, if like us you have young kids.
10 mins walk to the restaurants and bars, 5 mins from 2 beaches and a short car journey to many many more it really is ideally located.
We loved our week so much...we're going back for 2 weeks this year. Cant wait!!
