Casa da Quinta is a simple but comfortable Villa located in a very calm rural area, ideal to discover the charms of Madeira island, whether you choose to go for a "Levada" Walk or play Golf on the nearby Golf Course.

The holiday house Casa da Quinta is a tourism facility in a rural area where you can find the simplicity and comfort provided amidst the old and the modern.

It is situated on a quiet mountainside near the village of Santo da Serra.

If you plan to spend a few relaxing or leisure days, we have two apartments at your disposal:

Casa Catarina (1st floor) for max. 5 persons:
2 bedrooms: one with double and a bed and one with twin beds; satellite TV room, kitchen, WC, balcony, garden, parking and heating radiator.

Casa Cristina (ground floor) for max. 4 persons:
2 bedrooms: one with double bed and one with twin beds; satellite TV room, kitchen, WC, dining room, with air condition (warm + cold), barbeque, garden and parking.

Pets are allowed. There is the possibility of an cot, if requested, for both apartments.

The owners of this house also owns The Guesthouse a Quinta.

The Inn is located 1000 metres away from the House, and there you can also enjoy all services offered there:

Outdoor swimming pool (unheated), living room with satellite TV and billiard table, restaurant and bar, possibility to hire cars or motorbikes, breakfast, lunch, dinner and take away services, bicycles.

Beautiful gardens and lakes with fishes, as well as pets.

Peaceful and unforgettable, this place is ideal to discover the charms of the island, whether you choose to go for hikes in the high mountains, or to relax, playing Golf in the beautiful Santo da Serra Golf Course.

In the village, you can also find:

Bus stop (Camacha /Funchal) and taxis, possibility to go for hikes along the Levadas (water courses) and see Santo lagoon, as well as to go horse riding in the Riding Centre next door.

Shopping in the village, 1700 metres away: market (Sundays), supermarket, ATM, bakery, chemist, health centre (only open during the day), church and much more.

How to find us:

From the Airport, take the freeway (on first curve on the right, there is a road sign indicating Santo da Serra - Santa Cruz) and follow along for 50 metres more, turn right and go straight ahead, parallel to the airport runway. At the end, go up the road for 200 metres and follow the road sign: Santo da Serra – Campo de Golf. 5 km afterwards, after passing the Golf Course, go through the village and 200 metres ahead you will find "Estalagem a Quinta", where you will check in.

After checking in, leave the Estalagem (inn) and turn right at the first crossroads after REPSOL Petrol Station, towards Portela. Go straight ahead until the forth curve, where you will enter Caminho da Fajã das Vacas (there is a road sign). 5 metres ahead, turn right and follow straight ahead. Casa da Quinta is on your right, 100 m.
