Our bungalows have hot water, some kitchens, pool. It is a lovely place to stay. With great views, airy, comfortable rooms, and a friendly, attentive hostess, this is a great base for exploring this beautiful region. At the end of the day, you can relax in a hammock and watch the sun set over the Gulf of Nicoya.

Description of the area:

Only 30 minutes from the Harbour City Puntarenas and its beaches has Montes de Oro all requirements to make itself an ecellent tourist attraction. The beauty of the landscape with its spectacular views over the Gulf of Nicoya, the different micro climates in short distances, the biodiversity, the different kind of birds, mammals and butterflies, the flora, the cloudforest in all its brightness, the natural reservation area Manuel Brenes (30 minutes away from us) the different kinds of adventure sports, the relaxing horse back riding through the mountains and not to forget: the great hospitality of the Oromontanos, all this makes Montes de Oro a paradise.

How to find us:

Coming from the International Airport of San José you take the Interamericana, Route No. 1, in direction to Liberia. After 120 km you will reach the intersection Cuatro Cruces with the turning to Miramar. From Miramar a tared road will lead you 8 km up to the village of Tajo Alto. Just before you reach the village turn left. After another kilometer you have reached our finca El Mirador. We suggest to use a four wheel car.
