Rose Cottage sleeps 2-4 + in 2 en-suite bedrooms and
Honeysuckle House has 4 en-suite bedrooms and can sleep 8 in luxury with 4 extra beds for children making 12. The house and cottage together can sleep 12-16. The house is amazingly spacious and with the conservatory overlooking the hot tub is situated high up with elevated views of the mountains and south to a peak of the sea just 1km. There is everything you could possibly need including all chemicals by Ecover and the opportunity of buying a hamper of home-grown produce including vegetables and fruit, beef, pork and chicken together with home-smoked goodies. Supper or dinner can also be ordered by a former 'Rural Chef of the Year'. Children are very welcome and will enjoy feeding the animals and collecting the eggs as well as the trampoline. The house is also ideal for those with mobility problems and awarded Category 1 by Visitscotland which means it is suitable for unassisted wheelchair access. We have an electric hoist, shower chair and loo raiser. The house is full of books toys and films for wet days and there are log fires. We take our environmental impact seriously and have built a wind turbine and wood burning boiler. We ask our guests to help with recycling and composting.

Description of the area:

Ardnamurchan situated on the West Coast of the Highlands of Scotland is a perfect spot for wildlife enthusiasts. The Lighthouse is the most Westerly point on the Britsh Mainland and there are lots of sandy beaches some only accessible by foot or boat. Day trips to the small isles of Muck Rhum Canna and Eigg watching whales and dolphins are a must as are a day trip to Mull and Iona. Ski-ing on Aonach Mor or the Nevis Range summer gondola experience are only 30 miles away. Sea eagles, golden eagles, otters, red deer, red squirrels and masses of birds that are fed year round on the croft including some rarer species like a black cap, black grouse and field fares.

10 miles South of Frot William you take the Corran Ferry which is less than a 5 minute crossing. Turn left and Strontian is 12 miles. In the village go over the bridge and immediately right and we are 1 km on the left up a steep long driveway.
