The Estate of Tenuta le Piane, nestling in the foothills of the spectacular Sibillini Moutains, offers its guests a holiday surrounded by nature, close to the Adriatic Sea, in self-catering apartments within a 16th century hamlet or in luxuriously equipped Villa Cerro.

Detailed description:

The apartments are constructed with local materials (sandstone, brickwork, exposed wooden beam ceilings with terracotta tiles). They have been restored into holiday accommodation with attention to detail to offer an authentic atmosphere, with all the modern facilities. Two big swimming pools are available for the guests, within easy reach of each apartment.

Villa Il Cerro is close to Le Piane estate. It has been beautifully restored with attention to detail,
maintaining the original features of the building. It has spectacular views of the Gran Sasso mountains,
and is in the heart of the Sibillini National Park.
Access is by a private road. It has a private fenced garden with it's own private swimming pool (8 by 4 metres),
outside furniture and a barbeque.
The property is on three levels and it is ideal for families or large groups, with generous accommodation for eight people. The style of decoration is characteristic of the area, with many interesting pieces of furniture,
all combining to create a relaxing setting for a holiday surrounded by nature.
On the ground floor there is a large living room, a utility room, wood store and laundry with washing machine.
On the first floor there is a sitting room with a large fireplace, a dining room and fully equipped kitchen
(oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher), a bedroom with a double bed and a room with two beds,
and a bathroom with a shower.
On the second floor there is another bathroom with a shower, a landing area with a double beds
and a large bedroom with a double bed.

Other eight apartments can sleep up to 30 people
Apartments Castagno, Ginepro e Quercia, together form "Piccolo Borgo". They share a swimming pool (11 x 5 meters, 1,20 to 1,90 deep) and have a panoramic view
Apartments Ciliegio, Noce, Melo e Pero are in the same building, "La Fattoria". Ciliegio and Noce are on the ground floor, while two mansardas (Melo e Pero) are on the first floor. Together with apartment Le Terrazze they share a swimming pool.
Both Piccolo Borgo and Fattoria are ideal to be rented by groups who want to share an holiday together in the same place.

All the apartments offer maximum comfort together with privacy. Each has an independent entrance and its own garden, fenced off from the common areas with the traditional wood bar fencing in chestnut. They are accessed by private roads, and have covered parking, outdoor seating and individual central heating.

The houses are completely supplied with kitchen equipment (oven, fridge, freezer, kettle...), linen, towels (with weekly changes), tv, and everything necessary for your stay. The swimming pools are fully supplied with umbrellas, sun loungers and cushions. You can also find some useful accessories as hair-dryer, umbrella, flashlight. Owners also offer a welcome gift for guests: a bottle of local wine. There are two laundries shared by the apartments, with a washing machine and ironing facilities. There is also a game room for the guests with tv, video, ping pong table, board games and children's games.

Villa Cerro and houses are self-catering. Booking can be made for a week, or multiples thereof. In winter and spring weekend bookings are welcomed (minimum of three nights). Changeover day is on Saturday, with arrival between 4pm and 7pm, guests are asked to vacate their accommodation by 9am on saturday morning. The final cleaning of the accommodation at the end of the stay is included in the price. Animals are welcome. Credit cards are not accepted.

Description of the area:

La Tenuta has a tranquil position in the foothills of the Sibillini Mountains but it is well connected with the outside world. A few kilometres away, in the towns of Amandola and Sarnano, there are supermarkets, newsagents, restaurants, pharmacies, post office, banks and garages. The owners of Tenuta know the area intimately and can help guests find anything they need.

-Tennis. Courts are in both Amandola and Sarnano, 6 km far.
-Horse riding is available at the stables “Le Querce”, only 10km away from Tenuta.
-Biking. The owners have mountains bikes available for guests who would like to explore the mountain roads and paths around Tenuta.
-Golf. In Petriolo there is a golf court with 9 holes, 25 km far.

In the summer guests at Tenuta can enjoy the “green Riviera of the Picena”, the beautifully appointed beaches that line the Adriatic.

Due to its position at the meeting point of the three provinces, Ascoli, Macerata and Fermo, la Tenuta is within easy reach of many centres of artistic and culture interest.

How to find us:

Tenuta Le Piane is at the heart of Le Marche in the province of Ascoli Piceno, near the border to the province of Macerata. The most direct means of transport is the car, but the bus and train connections to the area are good.
The nearest airports, Ancona and Pescara, have both national and international flights and there are several local ports with good international connections.
