Detailed description:

Almhaus "Heidi und Peter", the first log house on the Falkert.

The house, made of solid spruce logs, is situated on 1340m² of grounds at 1820m above sea level, on the slopes of the Falkert (2308m). At the edge of the nature reserve of Nockberge in Kärnten, it is not far from Lake Millstätter and close to Bad Kleinkirchheim. Insulation is achieved with the 35cm of contact between the logs and the inserted sheep wool (not as it is usually done in frame- or log-constructions).

The 1½: - floor house covered with Larch planks sleeps 8 to max. 10 persons. It offers 100m2 of living space and is ideally suited for two families who are friends. Upon your arrival, the fridge is filled with Kärtner sausages, cheese and bread specialities as well as various drinks and beverages to see you over the first day.

In summer, it is recommended to get the Kärnten Card, e. . at the `Heidi-Hotel´ not far from the house. With this card, plenty of tourist attractions and facilities can be used free of charge or at a reduced price.

Pets not allowed.


A 36-PS-2 seater Quad with helmet can be booked on request. The vehicle with its trailer can be used for ski and toboggan transport to the lifts, only approx. 500m from the house, for driving fun on the Nockberg roads, for transferring a vehicle with a second driver to the end point of a hike, the possibilities are endless.

You have 3 toboggans at your disposal for your winter holiday.
