The house with south direction is located in a beautiful residential region on a side street by a saltwater canal with direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. Since the house is not behind a lock you can go directly through the canals to the Gulf of Mexico. Motorboats can be rented from the German managers or by one of the multiple renters. Since the house is not in a holiday complex, you can also get in contact with American neighbours and get tips for fishing or boating. There are 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 living room with a breakfast dining space (family room), 1 living room with a large dining space, a completely equipped kitchen with an electric stove, dishwasher, large fridge including a fridge with an ice maker. The usage of the Washer and the Dryer is included in the rental price. For a rental car, there is a garage with an electric garage door opener available.

Cape Coral is a paradise between Naples and Fort Myers on the southwest coast of Florida. Here you will find the Caloosahatchee River in the Gulf of Mexico. Cape Coral is known for its many canals (about 400 miles) as the Venice of America. Cape Coral has a low level of criminality. Since the beaches are very safe here (for example, Ft Myers Beach hardly has any current and has shallow water), Cape Coral is also the ideal place for holidays with the family. Cape Coral offers a lot of restaurants (American, French, Italian, German, Mexican). A German bakery, German butcher and cafes, supermarkets and a lot of retail shops are about a 7 minute drive from the house. Beautiful shopping centres are 5 to 15 minutes away. The modern airport at Ft. Myers is 20 minutes away by car. The driving time to the traditional destinations of Disney World, Epcot Center, MGM Studios, Universal Studios and Seaworld is about 3 hours.

Beaches / sport: Cape Coral Beach is about a 5 minute drive away. Larger dream beaches are at a 20 minute drive away on the dream island of Sanibel or Captiva. Here you can go on miles long (15 mls) beach walks on the stunning natural beaches and collect clams. The largest part of the island is the Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge and offers a lot of information about the local fauna and flora with guides through the untouched nature and bird breeding stations. For those who love beaches, Ft. Myers Beach (a 20 minutes to drive) is perfect. Here you will find music and a lot of action! Water skiing, surfing, sailing, jet skiing, tennis, parasailing - everything is possible. Those who want to enjoy this beach with tranquillity can go somewhere down the beach boulevard to the private houses and can look for a parking space with the help of the signs 'beach access with parking'.

Dog racing: Dog racing is also a popular betting sport in Florida.

You can rent a powerboat in a marina by Del Prado Blvd. in Cape Coral, in the Tarpon Point Marina in Cape Coral or in 2 marinas at Ft. Myers Beach. The fuel costs are about $ 2.80 per gallon - which means about € 0.60 per liter. A boat license is not required, but recommended.
It is an experience if you have the luck to see one or more manatees the very rare animals in nature. We have often seen these animals in our canal behind the house and it is an experience every time.

Golf: The golf lovers will have over 130 golf courses available within a radius of 40 minutes by car. Directly in Cape Coral you will find multiple golf courses. The closest (Cape Coral Golf + Country Club) is a 5 minute drive from the house. Golf merchandise can be purchased here, but you must remember that customs scrutinize new golf equipment.

Other Activities: Parasailing, Jetski at the beach and Casino cruise by ship in Ft.Myers Beach.
